Where to find the free March print issue of Gasholder

Restaurant reviews, interviews, the latest openings - and a round-up of all the happenings for LGBT month

Half a century ago this year, a bill was passed to change the way in which criminal law treated consensual sex between gay men over 21.

In our new issue we look back at the many changes since – and the slow march towards equality.

It’s marked every year by LGBT History Month, now in full swing (with many events running into late March). We’ve pulled out a dozen brilliant events that you’ll enjoy, whatever your sexuality, in this landmark year, including the faithful recreation of a queer bar from the 1930s (which you can actually drink in) and a historic retrospective at Tate Britain.

We also highlight the many parties, discussions and history walks around King’s Cross, Bloomsbury and Islington.

Elsewhere, all the regular slots are to be found: we check out Holloway pizza joint Zia Lucia, sample brunch at Vinoteca and see how Bloomsbury tapas institution Cigala is faring on its sixteenth birthday. We even find time to take a trip to the seaside town of Lowestoft in Suffolk.
