Since 2010, east London salon and gallery Radio Hair has showcased and nurtured what they call “the most creative talent in the industry”. And now the team are bringing their aesthetic to King’s Cross.

The name itself refers to the ability to “broadcast stylist creativity”, a place to “tune into” and receive a network of ideas that goes further than hairdressing.

Okaaay. The King’s Cross branch is, however, their largest space yet, building on the success of salons in Broadway Market and Redchurch Street in Shoreditch and the blow dry bar in swish old West End department store Fenwick’s.

It’ll be housed in the ArtHouse building, N1C, next to West Handyside Canopy and Wharf Road Gardens, and double as a gallery space, exhibiting work from artists on a four month rotation.

The salon supports all areas of art from photography, painting, illustration or sculpture, from new and established artists.

So, um, stay tuned.

Radio London is at Arthouse, York Way, from late April. Follow @radiohairsalon for the latest
